Kansas doesn’t offer plumbing licensing at the state level, and instead issues licenses at the local level. In Topeka, after completing the required apprentice training, candidates become eligible to take the journeyman licensing exam via the International Code Council or Pearson VUE. The exam requires a score of 75% or higher to pass. Candidates also need to pay a $50 application fee.
