The CAMICB CMCA Certified Manager of Community Associations Exam tests a person’s skills and knowledge on managing condominium & homeowner associations, housing cooperatives, resort communities and commercial tenant associations.
The exam underwent a significant update on December 9, 2024, based on a comprehensive job analysis study conducted between 2021 and 2022 that assessed the key tasks and knowledge areas required of community managers. The most notable structural change is the consolidation and reorganization of domains, with categories such as “Budgets, Reserves, Investments, and Assessments” and “Financial Controls” now streamlined under broader headings like Financial Management and Risk Management, while the Human Resources domain, which previously accounted for 6% of the exam content, has been entirely removed to reflect the evolving scope of early-career managers’ responsibilities as HR tasks are increasingly managed by specialized staff or external providers.
We create these self-practice test questions module referencing the concepts and principles currently valid in the exam.
