To be eligible for a Journeyman or Master Gas Fitting license in Alabama, applicants must satisfy experience and exam requirements set forth by the state board. A Journeyman Gas Fitter is a person who engages in or works at the actual installation, repair, or replacement of gas work. A Journeyman must operate under the supervision of a Master Gas Fitter.
