In Louisiana, plumbing licenses can be obtained in either Journeyman or Master classifications. Both licenses require applicants to pass an examination, and the licenses are governed by the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana. To qualify for examination, the applicant must be a registered apprentice through the State Plumbing Board and have either completed the Apprenticeship Program or in their last year of the program.
