The Alaska Pyrotechnic Operator Permit exam covers state-specific fireworks regulations and national safety standards. Specifically, the test evaluates your knowledge of Chapter 56 of the International Fire Code (IFC) as adopted in Alaska, along with national safety standards NFPA 1123 and NFPA 1124. The Pyrotechnic Operators Permit authorizes setting up and discharging 1.3G and qualifying 1.4G special fireworks at public displays for which a display permit has been issued. We create these self-practice test questions module referencing the principles and concepts currently valid in the fireworks profession. They are for reinforcing learning, NOT for simulating “real” questions. Each question comes with an answer and a short explanation which aids you in seeking further study information. We want to make sure these questions are tough enough to really test your readiness and draw your focus to the weak areas. You should use this product together with other study resources for the best possible exam prep coverage.
