The Texas TFM05 exam (Fireworks Pyrotechnic Operator test) covers Texas state pyrotechnic laws, licensing rules, and outdoor display safety standards. Administered by PSI on behalf of the State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO), the closed-book exam consists of 50 true/false and multiple-choice questions. A passing score of 70% is required. Test materials are primarily drawn from two sources: Texas State Law & Regulations: The Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 2154, and the Texas Administrative Code (Title 28, Chapter 34.800) pertaining to pyrotechnic operators.National Standards: The 1995 edition of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1123, “Code for Fireworks Display”.We create these self-practice test questions module referencing the principles and concepts currently valid in the fireworks profession.
