The CLTD exam has undergone a significant and comprehensive update, representing a major evolution of the credential. The new content is built around three key pillars: an enhanced focus on sustainability incorporating the latest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles; a deeper integration of technology with expanded coverage of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and blockchain; and a strengthened risk management framework for identifying, assessing, and mitigating supply chain risks. The update also incorporates concepts from the Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR DS) and the Enterprise Standards of Sustainability.
